My dad was diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer that had extensively spread to his liver in April. We didn’t realise we had so little time left with him. He went downhill rapidly and sadly died 2 weeks later. From the moment we contacted them, St Peter’s Hospice were absolutely outstanding in their care for dad and made it clear they were there to support us too. Dad was treated with the utmost kindness, consideration and respect - we can only thank them from the bottom of our hearts for everything they have done for us.
Every member of staff was thoughtful, caring and would go out of their way to help us, which made them all our friends.
In the short time that I have seen under the care of the St. Peters team, I can honeslty say that the care and support has been first class.
Was hepful to incorporate outside St. Peters.
Your help made all the difference to the took days of life.
I found the gardening group a joy to attend. Staff always welcoming and available for support when needed I also learnt thing about gardening.
Did not really got to know me and my needs, I had to ask.
The nurse I saw went into the subject of pain relief fully. And covered all the upsets that I wanted to know about. She could not have done it better.
We feel very supported by your team of outreach nurses.
